Our Client is a leading player in the global market for Cosmetics, Personal Care and Home Care segments. The company offers integrated manufacturing and logistics solutions for contract manufacturing services in those segments, with a strong focus on innovation and ODM (Original Design Manufacturing).
To ensure the growth of the cosmetics department and lead the brand new research and development laboratory dedicated to Beauty and Innovation located in Portugal, we are looking for:
COSMETIC R&D MANAGER
The resource will be responsible for managing projects focused on the development of liquid and cream products, with a high level of innovation.
The person, supported by an international team, will have the opportunity to make use of the gained experience in a highly dynamic and creative environment.
MUST HAVE:
• Degree as Chemist or similar (Chemical Engineer, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Engineer, etc)
• Experience in cosmetics companies (especially developing emulsions)
• Basic knowledge about the differences in regulation by region (worked with worldwide customers)
• Experience in management of teams
• Experience in management multiple projects at the same time (project management skills)
• IP know-how • English – proficient
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cosmetic formulations in the lab
• From brands (if with an internal R&D lab), BTB cosmetic, cosmetic raw material supplier
NICE TO HAVE:
Aerosols know-how and experience in the design of experiments
